Spanish Fork Reservoir

So we found our new summer activity, the Spanish Fork Reservoir. We took Jayden there and he absolutely loves it. The first thing he said when he saw it was "Tub". Then he ran into it said, "brr", but then he wouldn't get out. Here are some fun shots.

Today Jayden and I went to see AJ at work. We love going to visit him and have lunch with him. Today he was working in a new subdivision just across highway 6 from our house, so he was close to us.Today AJ wasn't in his regular Track hoe, he was operating a mini ex, which it is not as cool as his big Track hoe. Jayden didn't seem to care as long as he got to go for a ride.

A book everyone should read

Okay so anyone that knows me knows that I am not much of a reader! I would have to say that this last year I have read more books then I have ever read in my life. Maybe it comes with old age (wink). This last book that I read was really really good. I suggest to anyone that has or knows anyone that has an addiction to drugs, alcohol or really any addiction in their life should read it. I give it 2 thumbs up. Its a good one, go check it out.

AJ had to put on last sprinkler line in our garden, so we could get going on our garden. Jayden of course was right there helping him, or just maybe having way to much fun playing in the dirt.

Now hopefully it will start to warm up, so we can finish out planting.

9 years old!!!

Today is Taya birthday! Happy bday Taya! I can't believe that she is 9 years old, time sure does fly by. She sure has been a wonderful part of my life. When I first met Taya she was only 6 months old. We clicked with eachother right away. Not only am I her stepmother, but we are good friends as well.We took Taya and her cousins to "fat cats" to bowl, she is a very good bowler. She didn't used anything to help her, she did it all on her own. With the help of the bumper bars.

afterwards, we went to Tanners and Becks house to have some cake and icecream. Zack turned 7 years old! oh my how they all are growing so fast.

Hogle Zoo

We took the kids to Hogle Zoo today. We haven't been to the zoo in awhile, we had a good time. the kids loved it. Jayden was so excited when he saw the monkeys.

The Orangatange, named Eli, was Jaydens favorite. He even kissed the glass trying to give him a kiss. Ya pretty discusting, but everyone there had a good laugh.

Flashback!!!

Ok, so I was looking at some old photos trying to get a little more organized with all of our pictures. I new that Jayden was/is a chucky monk, but when you see old pictures it just makes me laugh, and think Holy cow! By the way, his top weight was 33 pounds. geezz! Good thing he doesn't weigh that much anymore.This picture was taken last April. One Year ago, with aunt Mandi.
Look at his cheeks and arms. LOL
He always has loved his monkey. This picture looks like he has fallen over and can't get up.
When he was learning to crawl, he always backed up to a wall, he couldn't figure out how to go forward, so he would just start crying.
